On 30 May 2026, the Peace Walk 2026 – ‘Let’s Come Together’ Peace Festival took place in Prague, an initiative dedicated to promoting peace, dialogue and mutual understanding.
The event began in Karlín Square in the Prague 8 district, from where a cheerful and colourful procession set off towards the Vnitroblock cultural centre, the venue for the afternoon’s activities.
The programme included an opening ceremony, followed by artistic and cultural performances, opportunities for discussion among participants, and spaces dedicated to informal meetings and the creation of collaborative networks. The organisers created an environment open to dialogue and the participation of people from diverse backgrounds.
Throughout the day, there were also a range of side events for children and adults, including an exhibition, themed workshops, presentations of community initiatives and a clothes swap. The event brought together citizens, associations and groups committed to building relationships based on mutual respect and cooperation.
The event, open to the public, was organised by the HWPL peace network and provided an opportunity to reflect on the value of peace, coexistence and mutual appreciation in an international and multicultural context.
