In the first leg of his tour, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will hold a high-level bilateral meeting with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim in Kuala Lumpur. According to official sources, the discussion’s core agenda will focus on streamlining and expanding the Malaysian labor market for Bangladeshi workers, creating new employment opportunities, and boosting bilateral trade. Following his visit to Malaysia, the Bangladeshi Prime Minister will travel to China for high-profile meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang. Bangladesh’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has revealed that 15 to 17 bilateral agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) are expected to be signed during this historic visit.
