The finger-pointing game and the politics of the cowards!

3 മിനിറ്റ് വായിച്ചു

While the planet is on fire and the climate chaos threatens our living conditions day by day; while in many countries populations live under the terror of war and violence; while others are anxious about the future and a possible shortage of food and drinking water for their families; while inflation is practically out of control the politicians are playing the finger-pointing game!

The economy is derailing, wars are intensifying, climate change is creating chaos, the GDP is declining; it’s the right’s fault; it’s the left’s fault; it’s the Trump administration’s fault; it’s the fault of immigrants, women, and the religious fanatics.

As the sky falls on our heads perhaps it’s because of the last solar eclipse—why not, since we’re already venturing into the realm of superstition ?

Enough of this finger-pointing game!

In a time of widespread crisis, this game of finger-pointing is politics for cowards. It’s the politics of those who are incapable of considering the possibility that the system is about to break down! Yet the signs of this monstrous system’s inefficiency are everywhere. In fact, everywhere this system generates more problems instead of moving forward with solutions.

Time to step forward

People who want to work together, regardless of their political party, nationality, religion, gender, or ethnic group, must take a step forward! Enough of this finger-pointing game that divides and weakens us individually and collectively!

When a person comes to the realization that schizophrenia individualism is a dead end, when they openly communicate what they are thinking and what they are doing to everyone without the ridiculous fear of not being understood, when they approach others not as some anonymous mass but with a real interest in each person, when they encourage team work in both the interchange of ideas and the realization of common projects, when they clearly demonstrate the need to spread this task of rebuilding the social fabric that others have destroyed, (…) when all this happens it is because within this person destiny has one again begin to speak, the destiny that has moved entire people along their best evolutionary path, the destiny that been many times distorted and so many times forgotten, but is always rencountered in the twists and turns of history.
