In recent days, we sent an urgent appeal to leaders around the world, among them President Macron, Mr. Steve Witkoff and Mr. Boluos, calling for the launch of a determined diplomatic initiative that would lead to a regional ceasefire.
We emphasize that any sustainable arrangement must include strengthening Lebanon’s state institutions and armed forces as an essential component in addressing Hezbollah.
The Women’s Cabinet in Israel is a coalition of women’s organizations, including mothers of soldiers serving on various frontlines. We bring to the table both our professional expertise and the lived experience of those who take responsibility for the lives of all who bear the costs of war.

“We refuse to continue remaining silent and paying with the lives of our loved ones when a diplomatic window of opportunity exists. Excluding Lebanon from broader diplomatic efforts risks perpetuating cycles of violence.
