After 14 years of doing all that can be done to provoke Russia and to engineer a full-on war with them, it seems the Collective West has finally made it happen. The current, most prominent leaders of Europe have finally become convinced of their own relentless, criminally false propaganda. They now believe, based on their own collectively culled set of fantasies, that Russia is “on its back foot” and that Ukraine, which has been relying entirely on NATO intelligence, NATO weaponry and active NATO engagement for over 3 years, has somehow managed to turn the tide of war over the course of the last few months.
Here’s what is actually happening in Ukraine: Over the course of the last few months, Russia has stepped up its campaign and is moving more quickly and more successfully, in multiple regions, than it has at any other time during the war.(1) As a result of this fact, Ursula von der Leyen (EU Leader), Friedrich Merz (Germany), Kier Starmer (Britain), Emmanuel Macron (France) and others, are panicking because they know that when this war ends, their careers will quickly end as well. So they’ve stepped up their attacks on Moscow to a point where they’ve succeeded in dragging their continent into a war that the two previous American presidential administrations (2012 – 2024) did just about everything they could to provoke.(2)
There’s an old saying, “Be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it.” In this particular case however, these war-obsessed ideologue leaders have asked and asked and asked for it, and now many thousands of Europeans may die for it. You can bet also, that these European leaders will do all they can to drag the US back into their cauldron of insanity as well.
As for you Westerners who’ve been following this conflict by looking at mainstream publications every once in a while, I’m sorry to say, you’re going to get a heck of a surprise in the coming months. Those of us who’ve been looking at this war from multiple points of view, using mainstream and nonmainstream sources, have done our best to warn you of this possibility. Unfortunately, we failed to reach you. This conflict is moving now, quite possibly, into precisely the phase of events that were most feared.
As I’ve mentioned in previous articles, I am, first and foremost, a humanist and an anti-war advocate who reasons and writes from first principles. Other than presenting the truth as I see it within the context of that which aims to overcome human suffering and violence in its myriad forms, what I write is not shaped by allegiances to any news media narrative or any political party be it blue, red, purple or other. I will also add that, as Humanists who practice active non-violence, we at Pressenza have denounced and continue to denounce this war.
