For the times ahead
human beings will need
The discipline of a soldier
the physique of an athlete
The wisdom of a philosopher
the vision of a pioneer
And the clarity of a software engineer
or a scientist.
A mother’s tenderness as well
a great leader’s will
An explorer’s curiosity
the compassion of a Christ
The sweetness of someone
who’s falling in love…
For the times ahead
no old categories, no mental patterns
from the past
will be useful anymore–
our usual way of thinking
is deluded on all fronts.
The mind dissolves
together with its cages
in a long-awaited implosion.
Man’s domination over man
proves to be foolish,
fallacious and outdated,
impossible…
a losing proposition
for both sides.
We won’t indulge in the current circle
of mutual suicide
anymore.
